Hi...i just finished reading this whole thread cuz i thought it would be fun for Huntyr to learn. I couldn't watch the videosas i am reading this on my phone.

But now i don't know what to think. If all your smart borders have so much trouble, what's my stubborn independent jack Russell going to do???

HEY! Ollie resents you calling him a Border (terrier mix thank you very much!) LOL I still haven't managed to teach him to do it the other way! LOL

Haha same here Boef knows one way perfect (vocal cue, hand cue and foot cue) and although I haven't spent enough time yet training her the other way, for her it feels like it is a whole new trick.
Fun fact is that she offers the behavior while falling on her side and lying completly still (which actually is the behavior 'still') :ROFLMAO: and then looking at me like 'what I'm doing it!' :p

ooh and no borders here!

ok ok so I am gonna try it ... try being the key word.
One stubborn Jack Russell and one determined momma makes a fun session LOL

Even if he only crosses one direction it will be a good start...
