eh, we're all only human. As long as people are nice to Gordy, I don't care what kind of dog they think he is, who he reminds them of, or if they don't take a look down there to see that he is in fact a he. I don't think he minds either, he's in it for the random love and attention he gets in public

Gordy's like my boys, it's the love and attention, nothing else! I really don't mind myself either what people say, so long as it's loving and kind. Makes for a lovely sociable walk when people talk and ask questions.
