Hi I'm Mary and found this site while googling things about Border Collies and thought I'd join. We just recently got a 1-year-old Border Collie, named Hitch. He's a good boy and I'm currently training him through the basics, sit, down, and so on. Talk to you guys soon!

Hi Marpo,

Congratulations on getting a B.C. I have one and it's so much fun. You can train him to do anything you want and all the tricks you see on this site, your B.C. will pick up quickly. Here is a tip for border collies, link lots of pleasure to toys like balls, frisbees and tugging. It's very easy to train with toys and much more convenient than food. :doglaugh:
