Franklin Roosevelt spent $15,000 for a destroyer to pick up his Scottie in the Aleutian Islands.

Could have been worse. He could have issued the order, "Pick my Scottie up", and it eventually reached the destroyer as "Blow my Scottie up"!

Sylverster Stallone sold his dog for $50 in order to survive, once he got his movie deal he went back to the guy who he sold the dog to, and offered him 100$, the man declined, he upped his offer to $500, still the man declined. He paid the man a whopping $15,000 and also gave him a part in the movie as part of the deal. :dogsmile:
